The 2024 conference season is about to start, so we’ve created a summary of this year’s top events for digital transformation professionals in the UK. We find that conferences are the best way to make new contacts, share knowledge and find out what’s creating a buzz in our industry.

The conferences are listed in chronological order. If you have any events to add to the list, please let us know via our contact page or on social media.

Digital Success, London, 29 February 2024: This one-day conference includes speakers from the NHS, the BBC and private sector organisations such as Diageo and NatWest. Expect deep dives into the latest technology, alongside discussion on building a collaborative culture and creating effective project management strategies.

Digital Transformation Summit, London, 23 April 2024: This conference is a small event consisting of high-level attendees. You can expect to meet around 100 senior professionals; delegates will be able to choose from a series of workshops on topics ranging from the role of AI in digitisation to improving the customer experience.

Business Change & Transformation Conference, London, 23-24 April 2024: A relatively small event with around 180 attendees, mostly consisting of transformation professionals from across Europe. The event is on the same dates and in the same venue as another two conferences by the organiser – AI Transformation Conference and Service Design Conference – providing the opportunity to visit the other events if time allows.

Digital Transformation Conference, London, 9 May 2024: The event includes over 24 speakers from a variety of industries, who will share their insight and best practice on the people, technology and process elements of digital transformation. Early bird tickets are available until 29 March.

DTX Manchester, Manchester, 20-24 May 2024: One of the few events located outside London, this conference is billed as “the North’s biggest enterprise IT event”. The conference is part of Manchester Tech Week, and promises peer-to-peer interaction alongside digital transformation learning.  

Gartner Digital Workplace Summit, London, 10-11 June 2024: Gartner conferences tend to be senior-level events with a strategic focus. This conference is expected to be attended by around 1,000 delegates, and focuses on the employee element of digital transformation. Gartner experts will be available for one-to-one meetings and Ask the Expert sessions.

Public Sector Digital Transformation 2024, Edinburgh, 11 June 2024: For practitioners north of the boarder, this event provides the latest updates on Scotland’s digital transformation journey. Expect to find out more about the country’s strategic direction in terms of public health digitisation, the impact of AI and the need for cultural change within the sector.

DTx Europe, London, 12-13 June 2024: Placed at the intersection of healthcare and digital transformation, this conference includes speakers from a range of European health services, and from across the private sector. The sessions include workshops from which delegates can choose topics of particular interest, from clinical trial design to funding strategies for digital therapeutics.

Digital Transformation & Innovation Financial Services, London, 19 September 2024: Financial services is an industry where a smooth customer journey is particularly important. This event aims to share knowledge to improve the customer experience and make their journeys seamless.

DTX London, London, 2-3 October 2024: Sister conference to the Manchester event, DTX London explores the technology and strategies essential to digital transformation success. This large event has over 180 exhibitors and 19 technology demo stages.           

Technology & Innovation Summit, London, 9-11 October 2024: Also available online, this conference has a particular focus on transformational technology such as AI. Run by Forrester, the event includes networking opportunities at which you can meet the company’s analysts. Early bird tickets are available until 19 July.

DT 2024, Edinburgh, 24 October 2024: Free to attend, this conference is centred around the digital transformation components of landscape, process, design, technology and people.
